A prototype & place for drafting plans to build more workable sanctuaries for solitude, structured experiences, & safer-feeling containers with specific standards for people who are extra-sensitive to stimuli &/or overwhelmed by confusing social situations.

Making a studious-yet-messy practice of cranking out hand-crafted mini-books, invitingly-scrappy & encouragingly-small journals, juicy little chapbooks, amateur ebooks, & new pocket editions excerpting old classics.
a Next-Draft Nursery
Like a tiny greenhouse for growing words where someone’s next rough (but rarely final) draft can grow: space to write, refine, or simply sketch out plans for the next stage of story.
a Private Library
A getaway where quiet bookish pursuits, study, dreamy reading materials, and individuals who crave them are prioritized and protected: one bookworm at a time.
an Inner-Child Incubator
Snug physical spaces for giving the sensitive kids lost inside overwhelmed adults focused room to hide, space out, read, daydream, rest, & imagine magic ahead on the horizon — all with optional slightly-removed views of the world outside, allowing for manageable access to drop down into it if ready.

Setting up the first space as Treehouse Headquarters in #202 at 929 Water Street: creating a business entity, plans, and visions to make this (and eventually more) private treehouse-inspired space(s) both personally rewarding & financially sustainable, while establishing 202 Treehouse as a presence offering quiet value to the local community.
Start date: December 2025 – Currently only space & time for one Treehouse owner/op, but hope to expand in 2027.

A fun, free-as-possible, endlessly-expandable system of time-management, flexible planning, & motivational tools for (probably mostly neurodivergent) adult folx (initially) who struggle to stay on track and structure their days & lives to where they actually feel focused, accomplished, rested, and rewarded. Inspired by & synthesizing a love of accessible analog pleasures like office supplies, gaming elements, adult coloring trends, and informed by being a Gen X AuDHD dork who has tried almost *everything* to be more “productive”, and mostly felt like I “failed” at all of that, too.

I’m comfortabe, competent, & confident using WordPress as a CMS (content management system) for my own creative projects online, but the latest new version’s release reminded me I could do more / efficiently by investing time with some tutorials, just learning for learning’s sake instead of just knowing enough to push things out with urgent hasty purpose.
